Awkward Ala, Silent Solice

Also to those who have never heard of I need to tell you this, she's an awesome friend, her artwork is amazing and it's always a joy to go to her profile and see new pieces even though she has been having school eat up her life like crazy so she hasn't posted much. But when she does it's always worth it. She deserves more love than she gets and more watchers and favs and just respect than she gets because she is awesome and she needs to be seen and I just believe that she is amazing and she should never stop doing what she loves because it has taken her a long way.

I meant to put a short story with this but it was so late at night that I really didn't have the brain juices working so I am putting it in now:

[ Solice watched quietly as Ala floated by her, it has been a few days since they had any real conversation with each other and she actually was surprised to see him so close today. She gave a small smile and nodded as a greeting to the Darkrai causing him to halt in his tracks. "Oh...Solice, I was er....looking for you", Ala said with nervousness clearly heard in his voice. Solice felt herself laugh a bit 'Well at least he's attempting to talk to me' she thought before she turned to look at him.

"Yes? What was it you needed me for", she asked. Ala coughed as he felt a blush begin to form on his face as he tried to keep himself at his normal facade. "I was wondering if.....you know our master has given me the rest of the day off and well I er...", his words started to trail of and Solice bumped in trying to keep him going. "The rest of the day off? Ala the day has barely begun, don't you mean the day off", she asked giggling slightly.

Ala had a blush of emberassment on his face as he tried to regain himself. 'Come on Ala, she's a girl, Chompy is a girl and she never did this to you so why should she make you any different....oh who am I kidding I look like a fool' he thought as he started to twiddle his fingers as he ducked his  head down a bit. "Well yes....I guess so, I am sorry I am bad with times....but I was wanting to know.....if perhaps.....uh", he was trying so hard to pour out what he had in his mind but his mouth kept spewing it out as gibberish making him more nervous that she might wonder off and never talk to him again.

Solice kept laughing as she put a paw to her face to try to calm herself. "Ala...I think I know what you are trying to ask", she said turning her body and slowly approached him. "You are wondering if I would like to have a.....day with you like a date, did I get in the ball park", she said getting a rapid nod from Ala.

"Yeah, I....it's just harder to say that then it looks without.....ya know, looking like a fool", he said scratching the back of his head. Solice laughed and put a paw on his shoulder. "You did just fine, you'll learn to get over your nervousness and it will just become a natural thing", she said as she leaned up to his face and nuzzled it with hers before giving him a quick kiss on his cheek. "I would love to go on a date with you", she continued, giggling slightly from Ala's widened eyes and beet red face. ]
